she is...

Lisa Ono. I chanced upon her album on a website, previewed her music and yes, its a perfect match of my music choice. Thus, after my Japanese class yesterday, I decided to get her album - Jambalaya Bossa Americana -

This isn't Lisa's debut album, but rather the 7th. She sang latino (which amazed me considering the fact that she's a Japanese) for most of her album, and this pretty much differs from the rest of her masterpiece. I will recommend you "Jambalaya" and 'Take me home, country road".

21st October 2006: Agnes celebrated her 21st Birthday at Pasir Ris Park. Pardon me for being too straightforward, coz' its the hungri-est birthday party I've attended so far. Her friends and colleagues were occupying the pit, therefore, it took them sometime to get the raw-food cooked. Majority of us were in a frantic state-of-hunger, and kel keeps stuffing the melons. Well, perhaps the theme for that day was "famished party". Anyway, so nice to see my laughing partner, kelly. Been months since we last saw her. Of course, we did stupid things again, that sent everyone cracking non-stop. Especially the cake cutting part when her dad allowed benny to kiss her, me and kelly goes: 亲一下 亲一下, 求婚 求婚, 结婚 结婚, 生孩子 生孩子。I think her friends must have thought "some looney attending her party, SCARY!!" [Photos to be uploaded soon]

22nd October 2006: Met Esther and Erjie for some afternoon snacks at a Hong Kong cafe called "shit, I forgot the name". Its opposite Great World City. The desserts and snacks there are not bad, and the interior design is oriental, with dark brown stools and tables. And we headed to ZARA to view esther's $300 trenchcoat. Hmm, looks quite lovely, almost like paddington bear because its all-red. How I wish I would get a chance to wear winter wear. Sigh... Next, we went to Orchard, to my horror, my Agnes B Homme bag is gone. Awwwww..... Supper at 85 to fulfil our cravings for wings and BBQ stingray. Yummy~

23rd October 2006: Supposedly wanted to accompany mum to Vivocity, but she needs to accompany Granny instead to a relative house to pay them a visit. Well, some other time then. I've already planned my 8 days of remaining leave balance, so hopefully, all the shops will be opened before Christmas. Went to Raffles place outlet to find my brother and accompanied esther to take some medication from her co. clinic. Walked to Funan IT Mall, and managed to buy the 2GB iPOD Nano. Its such a bargain! $248 for 2GB. To contrast with my 128MB Creative Slim Muvo I bought like 2 years ago at the similar price, its so much affordable now. Darn! I'm eyeing on one too.

Met En, Hui and Lian for coffee at Cartel. Primary aim was to discuss on lian's plan to job-hop to another firm. A well known and perhaps, better paying firm. Everyone seems to be eyeing for position in prestige firm these days. I must agree, it does helps in your resume in future. Ended up side-tracking to some "shit" things and I've discovered some "holy-shit" facts about them. I was dumbfounded. lolx.

24th October 2006: When I have the intention of resting and recuperating my body and wallet, Saffron Hill asked me to work on a report for them. I was hesitating at first, but then agreed. Thinking of a joyous christmas coming up this year, I need to save more for gifts and dinings. My pay doubles up from $10/hr to $20/hr. Its for you to calculate how much I've earned for the day. *wink*. That morning, dad, mum and I went to Katong for the Famous Prawn Noodles, which we had like ages and ages ago. I'm not trying to exaggerate things here, but the first mouthful makes you _____ (I leave it to your imagination). The soup is so sweet, the prawns so succulent, the yellow noodles doesn't have that bitter aftertaste. I would love to go again soon. Slurp~ After breakfast, dad sent me to work.

Today? I'm at home again. Its duty day tomorrow. Sucks BIG time!
